I research expertise lies in the area of Linguistics. I have developed a Speech Based Corpus Phonetic Reader of a less resourced language Khortha which is spoken in Jharkhand, India. I have applied Experimental Phonetics and Intonation Phonological methods to identify the segmental and non segmental sounds of Khortha. I have also developed a Trilingual Lexical Database of Khortha through lexical glossing and linguistic annotations.
